This quaint Cotswold cottage is located in the heart of the thriving market town, Moreton-in-Marsh. Just one look at the sandstone facade is all you need to get a feeling for exactly what this home will be like on the inside, and it doesn't disappoint. It boasts beautiful original timber beams, flagstone flooring, exposed stone walls and a wood burner in the cosy living room. The stunning farmhouse kitchen leads to a charming courtyard garden with plenty of seating and a barbecue to make the most of long summer evenings. The town is located within an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, which definitely merits further exploration. However, due to the direct train links to London, this North Cotswold town makes for a perfect countryside escape without necessarily needing a car. You can find everything you need along the half-mile span of the town, with a choice of restaurants, shops and pubs right on your doorstep. Check out The Manor House Hotel for an eight-course tasting menu or sophisticated à la carte options. Alternatively, enjoy the lunchtime kick-off over a pint at The Black Bear Inn on the High Street. Take your pick from a couple of small supermarkets where you can stock up on essentials, while The Cotswold Cheese Company offers up a mouthwatering taste of the town.
